First and foremost it's an absolutely beautiful place to live! It's an amazingly textural place featuring Nature's showcase of sea views, dense forests, distant skylines, lakes, and mountain terrains.

With an ambient temperate climate that rarely approaches too hot or too cold it is unlike a lot of the typical rain forest weather conditions found on the coast. It is often referred to as a west coast sunspot because of where it is situated in the Gulf of Juan de Fuca between Vancouver Island and the British Columbia coast.
